Got a chance to wander the streets last night … despite the dropping temperature a really enjoyable evening.

I went out over the weekend with the new Holga – have to say loved shooting with it. Really can’t wait to see what it’s created. I guess they could all be total rubbish, a bit crazy, or I may even find something in there that works.
At the same time I was also shooting with the iPhone – yip left the 1D at home! All photos taken and edited on the iPhone. I’ll probably put a few posts together in the future discussing my favourite iPhone photo apps.
My Russian bride Holga has turned up … time to hang her round my neck and push her buttons ….
Play nice kids ….
The Holga showed up today. Goodness me it just feels wonderful. Yes it’s plastic. Yes it’s light. However, loading the film (went for the B+W 400ISO) was such a magical feeling. Over the next week I’m going try and complete all 16 shots and then get ready for the Collaborative project.

Holga Goodness
We had a pretty impressive storm pass through Cambridge today (and I like a fool decided to run during it)
As it passed it was amazing to watch the blue sky be unveiled like pulling back the duvet on the big old bed in the sky.
Pretty impressive – just wish now I’d have waited another hour before starting my run.
You will have read in an earlier blog post my review of the Hipstamatic-D app on the iPhone. Well I’ve just finished another 24 shots, this time using the Dreamy film. I really love some of these – such a fabulous little app. If you own an iPhone, and are into photography, you really need to pick this up.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been thinking about possible photography projects for the incoming year. I find that having a few projects in mind can help the creative juices, especially if, like me, your working life can limit the amount of quality time you get behind the lens.
Below are just a few Ive been considering, not sure how many of these will actually get of the ground in 2012 – we will see. (I’ll go into more detail on these in subsequent blog posts.
